Definition: Preview

Preview: A preview is an article written about a piece of entertainment that is based on limited exposure.  The content being discussed will usually, but not always, be unfinished at the time of its consumption.  The point to a preview is to educate the reader on the basics of the title, including features, gameplay mechanics and story, as thoroughly as possible based upon the limited time spent with the media.  Previews can come in a few flavors, Hands-On or Eyes-On.

Hands-On: The content was actually played as part of the preview session.

Eyes-On: The content was displayed, staged or demoed to attendees of the preview session.
