Skate 3 Grinding May 11
Electronic Arts announced that Skate 3 will be making its way to 360 and PS3 on May 11 for North American gamers. The rest of the world will have to wait three days for May 14 to roll by.
Skate 3 is EA’s third challenge to Activision’s dominance of the skating game market. Thanks to the flop that was Tony Hawk: Ride, this is probably EA’s best chance to take the wind out of Tony Hawk’s sails. EA Black Box is making a multitude of changes and additions to Skate 3. Gamers who like a challenge will be given one via Hardcore mode, which amps up the difficulty by making the title more realistic. Less height from jumps, no “suction” for grinding and additional pushes for max speed are just some of the changes expert will have to compensate for.
Three new multiplayer modes have been added, 1-Up, Domination, and Own The Lot and the Create-a-Park will enable gamers to create their own skating paradises.
